Traditional
Chinese medicine views disease as the result of an imbalance
or blockage in the body's natural energy flow. This imbalance
or blockage can result from trauma, poor died, medications,
stress, hereditary conditions, environmental factors or excessive
emotional issue.
Treatment visits last 45 to 60 minutes. Since
each patient and each condition is unique, some patients may
need just a few treatments, while others may require many.
Initially, treatments are spaced only a few days apart, enabling
us to get ahead, then stay ahead of a condition. Patients
may receive two or three treatments per week in the beginning.
The treatment frequency becomes less as the symptoms improve
and the patients condition stabilizes.

Acupuncture 101

As
awareness grows and misconceptions fade regarding the value
of massage therapy, more and more people are discovering the
profound benefits available to them through regular body work.
The origins of therapeutic massage are rooted in the common
instinctual response to hold and rub a hurt or pain. It is
found in all cultures as an integral part of health care and
maintenance.

Acupuncture
and herbal treatments relating to weight loss are designed
to affect body processes to facilitate positive change (balance):
- increase energy
- appetite control
- moving stagnant energy (Qi) - stagnant Qi prevents positive
balance within the body, leading to illness or compromised
function
- facilitating digestion
- increasing metabolism
- draining excessive dampness under the skin (which creates
a fat-friendly environment)
- preventing obsessive eating tendencies.
- addressing food addictions
- hormone rebalancing
- decreasing stress level, thereby lowering cortisol levels
A sensible, balanced eating plan and exercise
regimen is designed to elevate the patient's metabolism and
eliminate potentially allergic or toxic foods.
For thousands of years, the "Orient"
has known that beauty comes from the inside. The Chinese discovered
and utilized ways to change the energy flow within the body
to initiate the healing process for rejuvenation. Though Facial
Rejuvenation Acupuncture can sometimes be referred to as an
Acupuncture Facelift, it is more than a cosmetic procedure.
It is a rejuvenation and revitalization process designed to
help the whole body look and feel younger.
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is a painless,
non-surgical method of reducing the signs of the aging process.
Facial Acupuncture helps to improve muscle tone and dermal
contraction especially in the face and neck. Bags and sagging
around the eyes, face, and neck can be significantly reduced
and toned up. Healthy facial coloring can be restored and
there can be a tightening of the pores. Habitual expressions
resulting from stress are transformed, resulting in a remarkably
younger, calmer, and less worn looking face.
